Description

A lovely example of an Edwardian triple postage stamp box, the base is covered in a deep green leather, which I have left untouched, the little wear could be polished out with a dark green polish but I will leave that decision to the new owner.

The sterling silver lid is hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 together with the makers mark CPB for Charles Penny Brown.

Each glazed aperture contains a postage stamp with Edward VII on it, Half Penny, One Penny and I think a 2 1/2 Penny, the last one is a little faded.

A super example, harder to find in this triple format in excellent condition. Measures 3 1/8" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".
