Meissen porcelain figure, ‘The Apple Seller’, c. 1920. Originally modelled by Peter Reinicke, for the ‘Cris de Paris’ series, the figure depicts a lady in 18th Century costume, with apples laid out on a cloth, over a large dish. She carries a basket of apples in her left hand. Set upon a gilt rocaille base.

Height: 14 cm, 5 1/2”.

Width: 8.5 cm, 3 1/4”.

Depth: 6 cm, 2 3/8”.

Condition: Perfect.
