An Extremely Comfortable Carolean Revival Carved Oak, Leather And Green Velvet Three Piece Suite - C.1910

A ridiculously comfortable and very unusual early 20th century three piece suite, in the Carolean Revival taste, each having bottle green velvet down filled seat and back cushions with contrasting wool piping, egg and dart and foliate carved decoration to the oak, patinated brown leather held on with large domed studs and four bun feet at the front. Currently on modern ball castors for ease of movement but the suite would benefit from having them taken off once in place.
Condition:
A few splits and a couple of repairs to leather. One armchair has had its leather back replaced. Cushions in very good condition. All in all ready to be used and enjoyed but with a few minor defects commensurate with age and use. Some leather repairs have been undertaken since photography, notably on two of the arms.
