Antique French Ebonised Walnut Plant Stand

Description

A beautifully designed antique jardiniere / torchere stand in walnut, amboyna and ebonised wood. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of excellent quality, and is perfect for use as a plant stand or an object display stand. There is a lovely combination of amboyna veneer, solid ebonised wood and high quality gilt metal mounts.

We have had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age, with some slight wear and patina remaining.

Width base – 16 inches , 41 cm

Width top – 9 inches , 23 cm

Width top centre – 5.5 inches , 14 cm

Height – 39 inches , 99 cm
