Description

An exceedingly rare name butterfly plate by Chamberlains Worcester circa 1810. With exquisite gilt floral border and powder blue inner with circular gilt reserve with a hand enamelled painting of the Chinese white red and black butterfly. Named in script to the rear this is an extremely rare piece of chamberlains Worcecester Porcelain of the Regency period. In fine original condition no chips or cracks or crazing, the underside carries small patches/marks from the firing process. This very rare and desirable collectors piece is on view and for sale at our showroom in Station Antiques Appledore Rail Station Appledore Kent.
