All beneath a deep pearl ware glaze, with pooling in the recesses of the moulded hair.
See ‘A-Z of Staffordshire Dogs’, Clive Mason Pope, Fig.42, P.97, for a similar, but in my opinion, inferior pair.

Condition: Typical minor wear to the overglaze enamels. No damage. No restoration.
