Antique Solid Sterling Silver Three Part Tea Service

1920 - 1940
Description

A fine example of an antique tea set consisting of a tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. The quality is superb and the silver is a good heavy gauge with a combined weight of 1286g. It is a stylish set with an elegant Art Deco style shape with angular handles and square feet.

Each piece is clearly hallmarked for John Rose, Birmingham, 1933 and the tea pot also has the retailer's mark "W.T.Story Ltd. Barrow".

The whole set is in excellent condition. There are some faint surface marks and light scratches and minor signs of age and use but nothing untoward or detrimental and the set displays very well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.

Approximate Measurements :

Tea Pot : 30cm l x 13cm w x 13cm h

Sugar : 19cm l x 9cm w x 8cm h

Milk : 17cm l x 8cm w x 8cm h
