A good quality and unusual Aesthetic Movement breakfront credenza or side cabinet. The top having book matched walnut veneer with ebonised moulded edge above the walnut and ebony inlaid frieze. The panelled centre door set into 4 ebony quarters with subtle carved detail and a raised satinwood panel with hand painted floral and bird decoration. The walnut stiles having applied turned and fluted columns with gilded Corinthian capitals and flanked by 2 bowed and glazed doors. The whole raised on a conforming shaped and inlaid plinth with ebonised turned feet. This cabinet is in superb condition with applied brass trim throughout and working locks with keys and has been totally relined in a quality neutral fabric. Dimensions:- Height…42.5’’/ 108cm.
