The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch measures 50.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated and is the Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons was an English manufacturer, based in Birmingham, who supplied various watch makers with cases. The case has light surface marking from use and a small “ding” to the back cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.
The signed white enamel dial has an old repair to the outer edge between 8 & 9 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
