Pinefinders has dated this piece to the 1910s.
These low wardrobes were made for low ceilinged homes, such as cottages.
It dates from around c.1910, and is in good solid condition. It has recently been stripped of its original paint, to the bare wood. It is now ready for waxing or painting.

The original lock and key are in good working order.
It is stood on bun feet to the front, and block feet at the back. There is a nice cornice to the top.
The fitting of a new brass hanging rail is included in the price. Can be purchased in the bare wood for £800 or wax polished for £897.
