Description

A charming, small 18th Century oak gate leg table. The table has drop leaves to either side. The top sits on a base of eight square and turned upright supports with straight stretchers. There is a fitted drawer to one end (replaced) with a simple brass pull.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places, including some age-related marks and also staining to the top (pictured). Moreover, there are some shrinkage gaps to the top. The table is of good construction. The drawer has been replaced at some point. Some minor evidence of old historic wood worm – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution.
