Empire Style Mahogany Console Table Circa 1920

Description

Top quality Empire style mahogany console table having wonderfully carved front legs in the form of winged griffons. Carved moulded edge to top and bottom of frieze and applied carved anthemium motifs to frieze. Standing on concave base with block feet. Mirror back. All in superb condition. Fine soft colour with great waxed patina. A wonderful copy of 1st Empire table made about 1920.
