Antique Boxwood Case - Unusual Having Two Glass Measures

This is a boxwood case with the unusual feature of having two glass measuring devices. In the centre is a narrow minimmedicine measuring cylinder and sitting over the top is the glass measuring beaker.
 
It has stamped on the lid S Maw, Son & Thompson London. They operated out of London between 1870-1900, when Thompson retired and the company was renamed.
