Art Deco 1.64 Carat Natural Purple Sapphire & Diamond Ring, Circa 1925

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning vintage sapphire ring. The central sapphire – certified as natural and unheated – displays the ideal shade of purple; rich and regal, but still full of light and life. The centre is surrounded by ten white and bright old cut diamonds in a coronet setting, leading to a slender yellow gold shank. Simply lovely.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating.

Cut – Round cut sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G to H.

Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are VS2 to SI2 (all are clean to the naked eye).

Carat – The sapphire is 1.64 carat. The total approximate diamond weight approximately 0.70 carat.

Circa – 1925.

Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 6.8 x 6.3mm. The head of the ring is 12.4 x 11.8mm and sits 6.7mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. Hallmarked.
