Antique Walnut Davenport Desk

A neat antique walnut davenport desk. To the top is a small compartment with a hinged lid that reveals a neat interior. The sloped writing surface has a green painted finish in place of its original leather top. To the right-hand side is a bank of four fitted drawers, each with two small wooden knobs. Raised on castors. There is decorative crossbanding, and inlaid detail throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places, including some age-related marks, wear, and staining to the top and sides (pictured). Original inset leather writing surface has been removed and replaced. There are some chips and losses to the veneer and inlay in places. Of good construction.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
