This is an antique engraved biscuit barrel. An English, silver plated decorative jar, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1860.

Strikingly decorated and wonderfully fascinating

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Bright silver plate shows light signs of careful polishing

Elaborate foliate engravings adorn the circular body

Integrated handle with lift mechanism operates the jar lid
