Description

1940s Lanco pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Lanco, a brand name first registered by Langendorf in 1913.

The watch measures 44mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop, so a little smaller (and slimmer) than a standard 50mm pocket watch. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just the odd minor mark.

The glass lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original hands, which have darkened with age, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
