Small Chinese Painted Box

An intriguing and charming small Chinese painted box. The box has a painted finish throughout with the front depicting three figures with a scroll. The hinged lid opens to reveal a neat interior. Raised on a plinth base.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks and losses to the paint work (pictured). Some minor evidence of old historic wood worm – fully treated. Small repair to the plinth base. Overall, the box remains in good solid condition.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
