Pair of Silver Candlesticks 1915

Description

A Pair of Silver Candlesticks.

Each candlestick with a lift out oval navette shaped finished with a reeded edge fitting within conforming vase shape candle holders, decorated with fluted petals, gathered with a reeded band. The stems tapering inward and downward in flutes, gathered by a reeded band. The stems resting on vase shaped socles, above spreading navette shaped bases, decorated with fluted spreading petals, within reeded bands.

Hallmarked for Hawksworth Eyre, Sheffield 1915.

Height 8 1/2 inches, 22cm.

Width 4 1/2 inches, 11.5cm.
