An exquisite letter opener sure to brighten up the grandest of desk-tops. The front panel has a wonderful panel of blue guilloche enamel over decorative engine turning. This panel is framed with a black enamel with a decorative silver inlay.

The sterling silver blade is where the hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1898. It is highly decorative, with engraving to the front in a foliate design.

As useful as decorative and in excellent condition, measuring 8 1/4" long,
