The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. Technically this is a 12.15 movement, used in watches prior to named models.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the haunched lugs and the winding crown, it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist. The main body of the case is gold plated. There is some wear and marking commensurate with the watch’s age. The case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish which has darkened over the years but still easy to read the time. Slight discolouration to the hour hand. Outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
