Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The flask with a ball top, rotating to secure a bayonet catch and hinged to the collar. The upper part of the glass body cased in Morocco leather, with a reveal to each side.
The lower body cased in a gilt interior slide off cup. The collar and underside of the cup impressed with the makers marks.
In excellent condition throughout.
Date circa 1870.
