Description

Early 20th.c. Queen Anne srtyle walnut bureau bookcase c.1910. Useful slim dimensions, just 25½" wide. Glazed bookcase top with a single door and fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 14.5cm). Over a fall front bureau with fitted interior of small drawers and pigeon holes, plus four long drawers of graduated depth below the bureau. Queen Anne style shaped and moulded cornice, shaped glazing with raised and crossbanded mouldings. Highly figured burr walnut veneers to the fall and drawer fronts with good quality brass handles and crossbanded surrounds. Ogee base moulding and shaped bracket feet front and rear. Oak lined bookcase and walnut veneered interior to the bureau. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
