This Victorian inlaid walnut serpentine card table was made at the height of some of the finest burr walnut furniture being made.

Our example here is in the high-end bracket of quality.

The table stands on end supports joined by a pole stretcher, all with fine carving. The end supports with the cabriole legs with the desirable rounded carved toes with the original castors under.

The card-table is of a serpentine outline, the burr walnut top with intricate inlays to each corner all joined by box wood stringing.

The top swivels and opens to reveal the original baize playing surface.
