An 18th Century Silver 'Soy' Condiment Label

A desirable Georgian silver 'Soy' condiment Label, dating from the late 18th Century. This wonderful piece is rectangular in shape, with 'clipped' corners and the word 'Soy' is engraved to the centre. The border is reeded and the label is supported on a belcher chain. Condiments came in many forms in the Georgian times, including items such as Soy sauce - also found as a cooking ingredient nowadays.
