This is an original Movado Ermeto purse watch or travel clock dated to around 1930.
It is in original condition, bright and clean yet showing the patina which you would expect from an item of this age.
As you would expect the manual movement is fully marked as is the dial
It has a solid silver case which is hallmarked although as you can see the hall marks are rubbed and difficult to read so I cannot date this watch accurately.
The solid silver case is in lovely condition and the two halves snap together crisply to close it.
The automatic winding mechanism is working perfectly and winds the watch when you open and close it.
The movement is in excellent clean and running condition having just undergone a complete and comprehensive overhaul by Alan Williams of Plymouth Clocks
Alan Williams is a fellow of the British Horological Institute the highest qualification for clock makers in the UK so you can be assured that this watch will give trouble free service for many many years before requireing any further attention
A genuine Movado Ermeto in original condition which will give great pleasure for many years to come.
The clock movement comes with a full 12 month warranty.
