Large Oak Mule Chest Cupboard with Carvings

A large antique oak chest cupboard. It has decorative floral carved details throughout. The front is panelled, with cupboard doors to either side, opening with brass pulls. These open to reveal a storage space running behind the central panel. The sides are also panelled. Raised on block feet with those to the front having carved detail. Appears to have been converted from an old mule chest.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some marks, wear and staining to the top. Minor losses to the beading surrounding the top. Evidence of old historic treated woodworm, which is long gone and has been treated as a precaution. This is confined to the feet which also have some losses as does the back (which has some shrinkage gaps). Shrinkage gaps to either side.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
