Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1750s.
Each plate with rims decorated with spreading flowers and leaves. The centre of the plates painted with scenes of wild flowers in full bloom. The plates are raised up on small foot rims and the backs bear the makers mark of an axe.
Height 1 inch, 2.5cm.
Diameter 9 inches, 23cm.
Date circa 1750.
