The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 17-jewel R458, signed Cyma Tavannes, which is working nicely.
The main body of the case is chromium plated, and there is some wear and marking commensurate with its age. The case back is stainless steel and it is signed inside with the Cyma logo.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands. There is some light marking to the dial but not too detrimental at all.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
