Lovely solid hallmarked silver hip flask.
Good shape and size holding 3/4 pint.
Ideal size for a smart jacket pocket.
The hinge is strong and works well. The cap has a replacement cork to ensure it's liquid tight and to be able to show the hallmark inside the cap.
Made by William Neal & Sons and carries the Birmingham hallmark with the
date letter for 1917.
It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap which fits snuggle with the flask body.
Height 6 1/4 inches 16 cm
Width 4 1/2 inches 11.5 cm
Depth 1 1/4 inch 3.2 cm.
The silver weight of the flask is 263 grams.
Excellent condition and the flask is liquid tight with no leakage.
A surface dink to the corner as shown but this hasn't caused a hole and is only on the surface.
A lovely usable piece and makes a fabulous gift.
Will be sent in a gift box.
