George V Silver Christening Mug by the Atkins Brothers, Sheffield 1920

Description

This is a truly delightful George V silver christening mug in wonderful crisp condition. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1920 and bears the marks of the Atkins Brothers. The slightly tapered cylindrical body engraved with ribbon-tied festoons surrounding a vacant oval reserve.

C- shape hollow handle and rich gilt interior.

Hallmarks:

HA for the Atkin

Lion Passant.

London Assay mark.

Date letter "c" for 1920.

Dimension and Weight:

Height: 8.5cm - 3.2 inches.

Diameter: 6.5cm - 2.4 inches.

Weight: 108 g - 3.3

Condition:

Excellent, no dings, no dents, not engraved.
