This handsome wooden playing card box that dates from the late 19th century is made of mahogany and has a charming painted decoration to the top which reads Card Box.

This box has a hinged lid which has been marked to the inside by the previous owner with the wording Bridge, Cribbage, Patience and Poker and a fitted interior that can hold 8 packs of playing cards. The cards in the box are included but are not full sets.

Condition: Wonderful used original antique condition with signs of wear in keeping with age and a wonderful patina. Some old repairs, a few nicks, small cracks, wear and scratches leaving a wonderful charming look. The cards in the box are included but are not full sets.
