Silver Dunlop Hole in One Souvenir Trophy Cup & Golf Ball. 1928.

Description

This wonderful Dunlop Golf Hole In One trophy which is made of solid silver is fully hallmarked for 1928, features a pair of crossed golf clubs and sits on a black base.

The charming trophy cup has an interesting inscription around it's top that reads: Dunlop Golf Ball Hole-In-One Souvenir and comes complete with a Dunlop 8 65 golf ball.

Date: 1928.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Anchor for Birmingham. Date letter D for 1928 and maker's mark BM Co for Birmingham Medal Co.

Dimensions: 10 cm (3 3/4") Total Height with base and ball.

Silver Weight: 22 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver has a few light tarnish marks, some light surface scratches and tiny dings. Maker's mark is slightly rubbed. No breaks or damage.
