Set of Four Walnut Dining Chairs C.1860

Description

Very pretty set of four mid 19th.c. walnut dining chairs c.1860. Fine quality solid walnut frames, the shaped and moulded balloon backrests with a crisply carved cresting rail over unusual carved and pierced stretchers. Webbed seats with serpentine edges and apron. Raised on slim curving cabriole legs with carved detail at the knees and feet. Excellent colour and condition with clean covers, the frames have been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
