Dutch Oak Bombe Chest Circa 1760

Description

Very fine Dutch mid 18th century oak bombe chest of three long oak lined drawers and having shaped top and standing on bold carved claw and ball front feet. All original chaised brass handles and escutcheons and iron locks. Finely carved decoration applied to base frieze. In superb un-touched original condition with no repairs. Wonderful rich honey colour (almost looks like walnut) with great waxed patina. Great shape and a very fine example..
