Antique silver Ehrhardt pocket watch, 1919.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.

The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1919 with a maker's mark for William Ehrhardt. Ehrhardt made both cases and movements and was based at The Time Works, Barr Street, Hockley in Birmingham. There is also a reference number inside the case back which matches the one on the movement so we can be happy that the movement and case started life together.

Overall the case is in good condition, just a slight indentation to the hinged case back.

The watch glass has small marks across it but not too detrimental at all.

The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks and three nibbles to the perimeter although mostly hidden by the bezel.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
