Antique Carved Oak Bureau

A wonderful, early antique carved oak bureau. There is carved detail throughout, in a floral style with some diamond shaped carvings. The fall front reveals an array of pigeonholes and small, brass-knobbed drawers. To the centre are two neat turned pillars. The surface has a small slide back cover for additional storage. The fall front is supported by the pull-out leaves above the drawers to the base. The base has an arrangement of two short over two long drawers. Each drawer has lovely brass tear drop handles and backplates. Raised on bracket feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good, well-worn antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including minor staining to the top. Surface wear and marks to the writing top interior. Historic shrinkage gaps to both sides. Minor losses to the edges of the top. Of good construction.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
