Description

Superb quality Edwardian satinwood combination wardrobe c.1905. Left and right hand doors opening to reveal full length hanging (internal depth 19?), either side of a two door cupboard with a single shelf over a useful chest of three drawers. Sparkling satinwood veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern across the front with a striking oval sunburst on the centre doors and inlaid stringing. Sides are also satinwood veneered. Moulded cornice with dental frieze, flattened arch top mirrors, original brass handles locks and latches. Raised on a plinth with shaped lower edge repeated from the top of the mirror panels. Solid mahogany groundwork to the front and sides, solid mahogany back panels and drawer linings. Repairs at the top and bottom of the uprights either side of the centre, otherwise excellent original colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied for the centre cupboard.

Splits into three pieces plus cornice and plinth for delivery.
