19th Century Welsh Dresser

An attractive 19th century Welsh oak dresser. The upper section consists of a moulded cornice above a boarded three shelf rack back, with an assortment of small iron hooks. This sits on a pot board base, with has an arrangement of three drawers, each with brass handles and backplates. Raised on block feet with turned supports to the front, and straight supports to the rear.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including evidence of old historic treated woodworm throughout. Particularly good repairs to back legs. Minor age-related losses throughout. Historic shrinkage gaps to three plank back. Some shrinkage to the top. Repair to bottom right-hand side of the under-tier shelf. All drawers run smoothly.
