A fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver desk standish by Edward & Rebecca Barnard, hallmarked London 1865/66 and in perfect condition. Having twin cut glass and silver mounted inkwells, a central wax holder with taper stick and snuffer. The inkstand is raised on four outswept scroll splayed feet. The border with moulded detail and 2 central engraved heraldic cartouche. Hallmarked to the underside of the inkstand and all the original removable pieces also hallmarked as you would expect.
