The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch is a good size at 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London, 1947. The case is in very nice condition and is free from engravings.

The lens is in lovely condition.
There is a little marking to the dial but overall the watch is in lovely condition for such an early piece which originally would have been very expensive having been produced in times of austerity.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
