Description

A wonderful heavy glass inkwell with a star cut base and covered in the most stunning cast sterling silver casing, beautiful pierced or reticulated detail.

The domed hinged lid is in perfect working order and again has an attractive raised and pierced border.

The silver is clearly hallmarked for London 1900 together with the makers mark (WC) for the famous top quality silversmith, William Comyns.

Superb undamaged condition with a base diameter measuring 3 1/8" and stands 2 1/4" tall.
