The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is signed with the mark for Stauffer & Co. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1905, with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham silversmith William Henry Sparrow. Overall the case is in good condition, just slight unevenness to the back, and light surface marking.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with an ornate silver chain, 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar and clasp are hallmarked for 1897. There is also a 1906 silver fob with rose gold wash detail to the front. The chain and fob weigh 45g.
The watch and chain will come in a new presentation box.
