Dunlop Rubber Co Silver Hole in One Trophy

1900 - 1920
Description

This wonderful Dunlop Hole In One trophy which is made of solid silver, features a trio of crossed golf clubs with a ringed top that holds the golf ball and is fully hallmarked for 1927.

The charming sterling silver trophy has an interesting inscription to the base that reads: Presented By Dunlop Rubber Co Ltd.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Anchor for Birmingham. Date letter C for 1927 and maker's mark BM Co for Birmingham Medal Co.

Total Height with ball - 9 cm (3 1/2") approx.

Condition: Very good antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver has a few light tarnish marks and some light surface scratches.
