Figured Mahogany 19th Cent French Card/games Table

A fine French 19th century card table with a lovely slightly faded figured mahogany top and frieze producing a lovely colour and patina. The top opens to reveal a green baize with leather and gilt tooling surrounded by beautifully figured mahogany veneers. The colour of these veneers are wonderfully rich. All standing on slightly tapering square legs. There have been some minor repairs to the veneers on the legs and some evidence of old woodworm to the carcass base has been treated as a precaution.
