Jacobean Oak Paneled Coffer Circa 1685

17th century
Description

Fine Jacobean three paneled coffer with paneled top, front, back and sides and with finely carved frieze. Raised on tall legs with flying brackets at front. Still retains its candle box within. Original pin hinges. All in fine un-touched original condition. Lovely soft deep honey colour with great waxed patina. Lovely and dry within.
