Description

A simple antique rustic elm trunk. The hinged lid opens to reveal a neat interior, with a candle box to one side. To each side are simple iron handles. Raised on a plinth base.

CONDITION REPORT:

In distressed, well-worn antique condition throughout with various signs of age. There is surface wear throughout including minor losses to the base and to the edges of the back. Historical treated woodworm throughout. The lid has been replaced. Historical shrinkage gap to the two-panel interior (pictured). Of good construction, but well-worn.
