Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Astral wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 27CS, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chrome plated and it is in lovely condition, just a very small area of marking on the back where the case back has been removed in the past.

Stainless steel case back which states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. A little surface marking to the back but nothing serious at all.

The lens is in very nice condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep with red pointer end and outer minute markers.

The watch has a vintage unworn leather strap.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
