Description

A good and original victorian foldover card table in burr walnut, ebony inlay with boxwood stringing. Original casters and baize.

The fashion for card playing is not as prevalent as it was years ago although this pastime is still supported in many households throughout the u.k. This type of table is now more commonly used as a side table or hall table. The proportions lend themselves perfectly to smaller accommodation or in a corridor. Sometimes as a base for display of a flower arrangement, a period clock or other ornament there couldn't be a better solution.

This table is original and functional and aesthetically beautiful.
