Fabulous Gold Suffragette Pendant on Gold Chain - Circa 1910

Description

A fabulous Antique & beautifully made Suffragette 9ct gold pendant in the Art Nouveau style with wonderful scrolling metalwork and two flowers sitting either side of a Peridot stone ,decorated with Pearls and Amethyst dropper& marked 'H&W on the back. Presented on a 16" antique 9ct gold chain . Comes in a silk & velvet lined box.

The colours of each stone show support for the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th Century and symbolise; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, - circa 1910
